Indian school, Nizwa was established in 1990. It is a co- educational english medium school managed by a management committee and a board of directors nominated by his excellency, the ambassdor of India. Sincere and concerted efforts of the community were crowned with success on 5.09.2011 when we shifted to bigger premises having a new building at taymsa on the Muscat-Ibri road.
The school has classes from LKG to standard XII. It has all modern amenities of an ideal school with spacious classrooms, science labs, Computer labs, multipurpose hall,library, a large open theatre and playgroung with a multipurpose court. With these facilities, students have all opportunities to hone their skills and innate talents. The school has facilities for IT based teading and learning. Provisions for indoor games like chess, carom-board, table- tennis are also available. Though this school is primarily for Indian children, it's high education attracts children from several other nations.It is international character by way of having children of 12 nationalities of asia and africa.
